    Hello all! I hope that this post finds you doing well. I have to admit, and anyone that reads my regular blog knows that I had taken kind of a hiatus from Final Fantasy XIV. From the looks of it, I really don't think I was the only one however. It appears that I was last to post, and that my last post here was in February.

    I've logged in here and there, participated in a few of the events (because I'm a sucker for such things) but that had been really the extent as things had always seemed come up to distract me. In honesty, I had actually got real involved on a Minecraft server all the while waiting for Final Fantasy XIV to recapture my immediate attention. Hoping that at some point it would whisper sweetly to me, asking me to come home. Not to say I ever stopped ...

    Yet another wave of poison mist showered over me as I focused at the task at hand. Never before had I given the proper respect to adventurers who daily meals depended on tasks such as these. I deflected another advance from the funguar and began my rhythmic chant. This time choosing to draw upon a cool elemental essence in the hopes of bringing this sparring match to an end. My eyelids fluttered from exhaustion as I neared the completion of my cast, for a split second I reveled, believing I had conquered, only to find myself flat on my back with a knot on my forehead from a gridanian walnut that had been hurled in my direction.

    My last casts execution had faltered, and I had inadvertently not focused my assault enough as I had now apparently enraged a nearby ...

    I worry that people are starting to get too comfortable in playing that they are not voicing their suggestions directly to Square Enix. I realize its much easier to complain in forums, but I encourage everyone to cut to the chase and report their ideas/suggestions/frustrations directly to Square Enix on their website. Now is probably a really good time with the new members of SE's team openly asking for feedback. Complete that survey they issued, and report anything else to official feedback page.

    Sunlight poured in through the beautiful stain glass windows that adorned Gridania's Carline Canopy. The place bustled with activity as the people went about their business.     Got up this morning to find an e-mail in my inbox titled "An Important Announcement for FINAL FANTASY XIV Fans". I opened it quickly as I imagined that it would reveal the date of the anticipated mid-December update, (since mid-December is nearly upon us.)
    What I found instead was an announcement that they have released on Lodestone this morning.

    A changing of the guard has taken place, and a new Producer/Director has been put in to replace one Hiromichi Tanaka. Beyond that, they have changed multiple members of their leadership team in the hope of gaining progress in a more timely fashion.
